Curry Laksa or Curry Mee in USJ2 ,UEP Subang

Penang Curry Mee comes in watery ,redish, pink coloured soup.It comes with the standard clamps and squid and taste a bit salty/sweet. Other Curry Mee comes in thick, red curry soup, fill with chunks of chicken, fish cake and clamps. There is one, as I call it, "Malacca type curry mee", which has red soup and taste a bit sourish and with the rest ingredients of clamps and a choice of Stingray fish and big prawns. I find this rather appetising. This Malacca type I am describing is available at a coffee shop in USJ2, Subang Jaya,Selangor. It is the corner coffee shop located next to Shell petrol station.
Guys, please feel free to share your favourite place. Thanks in advance.

Best Char Kway Teow , in USJ14 ,UEP Subang

To me, the best "Char Kway Teow" should not be oily, but dry. Dry in the sense that it taste a little bit like sandy. I had only two experience with this kind of "Char Kway Teow" , one by a guy who fry's "no pork" Char Kway Teow from Petaling Jaya SS2 ,to Kelana Jaya and then to Damansara Jaya. He only fry maximum two plates at every one time. The other is by a lady in Penang at Swatow Lane. Well, currently I don't seem to be able to find them around. Perhaps someone out knows where they are and be so kind to drop the address. Thank you in advance.

There is also the so called "Lorong Selamat" Char Kway Teow. well, there is one store currently selling in a coffee in USJ14 ,Subang Jaya,Selangor.(See Picture) Not bad, however I still missed the dry, sandy taste.

Misleading Adverts

It looks like a trend today to have misleading advertisement. I will only write of one example for now, as this one, in my opinion is a real waste of time & human resources for both the company and it's customers.
Telekom Malaysia with it's "Streamyx Combo Promotion at RM60.00"

(i) Streamyx unlimited internet access
(ii) With modem and warranty
(iii) Without TM Homeline monthly rental.

I am currently using the Streamyx RM77 package, with unlimited access, modem & warranty, and the telephone RM38 package.I was at a TM Shop paying some bills and saw this huge banner stating the above.Naturally, with the high inflation, one cannot miss out this opportunity to do some savings. Here I go pressing the customer services button and waited for my turn to speak to the customer service agents. Well, I then learned that this RM60 is a package at 384kbps. As I am currently enjoying the 1Mbps (which I sincerely think it is the minimum speed one can surf the net without stretching your precious time to wait ) , I realised that this advertisement banner could have at least states down the speed at the bottom together with the rest additional information of unlimited access, modem, etc. This will instantly provide the useful information to the potential customers and avoid one to wait and talk to their customer service agents, which is actually a waste of precious time for both parties. I believe there will be others who are similarly in my shoes. Imagine the customer service agents having to explain the same thing to many other customers of a simple information that RM60 Combo package is at 384kbps.
In depth explaining of a product is welcome, however unnecessary explanation should be taken into account.

Higher cost in Malaysia

With the recent fuel hike from MYR1.92 p/ltr to MYR2.70 p/ltr and the the coming increase of electricity tariff by Jul 2008 by the government of Malaysia, this without any doubt ,will definitely be followed by higher cost in many other items, which eventually leads to higher cost of living. Many people ,especially the low and low middle income earners will feel the extreme pinch in months to come.
A good government should already have a good and realistic mechanism to offset the higher cost of living when this fuel increase are being announced to the public. Yes a road tax rebate was initiated during the announcement, but do they really know if this is enough ? A slow initiation of other mechanism from the government will eventually create unnecessary increase of crime rates and unhappiness.
I urge this good government to seriously look into the plight of the people of Malaysia and quickly comes up with a reasonable mechanism to offset this coming inflation. My opinion is that, oil price increase is a global issue, hence the decision to increase the fuel price is acceptable due to the reason of factual situation in this world where an inflation is unavoidable as per se.This increase will actually reduce fuel being smuggled out of this country. As such we have to balance the income rate of the people of Malaysia to balance out this inflation. My suggestion:
1. An immediate increase of minimum wage to MYR1500.00
2. A total abolish of road tax. (This will actually shows that the government is helping Malaysian, instead of the illogical idea of restriction of foreign vehicles to fuel within the range of 30 or 50km radius.)
3. Abolish tolls. ( A tax to be implemented to all foreign vehicles.)

Thank you.

Moral of young children educators

From my experience,I have noticed and rather shock to learn that there are a few educators for young children are themselves having bad moral. Imagine what these young children will pick up from these "teachers". What will become of them when they are grown up. My concern to parents, please check the background and make initial spot checks before sending your young children to these education centres. Following are one of my personal, accidental experience :

aa/ One a small scale Chinese language centre. There was this familywho recently moved into our neighbourhood. We residence did not know who they are,but very quickly learn that they are unfriendly and always parked their cars haphazardly with no regards to other road users. (yes, like double parking till blocking half of the street.) They ignore proper disposal of rubbish hence rubbish overflowing onto the street and no bother of cleaning up their own mess. It was only after a few months later when they had an open house for their students and family at their new residence that we learned who they are. We were surprised one day when they quickly did a cleaning job of their homes, however their rubbish are not thrown at proper place, but placed at the end of the street. (you know what I mean, when you sometimes see old, discarded mattresses, cupboards at far end of the street adjacent to main roads...ARE these place designated as rubbish dump ? ) It was then we learned thay are actually foreigners from China and teaching Chinese languages at a centre nearby to young kindergarten children.
It shows total selfishness and disregard of consideration to others .
