Home made Tau Foo (Beancurd) . Absolutely very good beancurd. Yong Tau Foo as they are called , serve with noodles. I tried the dry noodles (Meehoon and Mee ) and the bowl of Tau Foo serve in seperate bowl of soup. All the chilly sauce and black thick soya sauce are placed on all tables for you to mix with your noodles yourself. These are served during breakfast and lunch. Mind you ,this place is packed during breakfast. It can been rather warm,so dress light and prepare to perspire, however from enjoying this wonderful Yong Tau Foo meal.
Location:,,well I just forgot to take down the road name,however ,it is located right opposite a Sikh temple in Malacca city. (Very near to Malacca Raya)

Hajjah Mona's Asam Pedas in Malacca ,Malaysia

This is a typical Malay style Asam Pedas. The fish are so fresh as they are picked up from the fishing trawlers who just returned from the sea, however ,in order to get the fresh fish, you must visit this place after midnight. I was looking for some Otak Otak,but sad to say ,not available at this store.

Had a one night stay in Malacca recently and was introduced by a friend who frequents Malacca to this nice restaurant that serves very good "Ore Mee" (Oyster Mee). There other dishes too, however this Ore Mee needs attention. Located at Jalan Malacca Raya 3 , Malacca,Malaysia.

Just stumble upon this nice Thai restaurant today. The cook are Thai's . As such the Tom Yam Khung is rather authentic Thai, like the one I get when I am in Bangkok. At reasonable price , I say the food is good and delicious.

Briyani at USJ Taipan ,Selangor

A rather authentic Briyani, I must say, because the aroma and taste of all the spices and ingredients are just excellent. If you want to taste a quality Briyani, try this one located at USJ Taipan ( at the same row of Telekom).
They also serve very good and quality Lassi and fresh juices. ( My apology for only taking the pictures halfway through our meal. Your guess is right,,we just had to get the food in our mouth the moment they are served hot with very pleasing aroma of Briyani. )

No Boric Acid noodles in Subang Jaya

Tang House of Fishball at many branches like - Jalan 21/19 Sea Park, No.7 Jalan SS15/4E,Subang Jaya ,PJU1/3A,Damansar Utama and Sungei Buluh.

I like the Curry mee ,Celery Mee and almost all from this noodles shop. As claimed ,NO Boric Acid, No Pork .
The Soya drinks are rich with soya .Overall, you are assured quality food and drinks in a very tidy and clean premises.

Masakan Padang (Dishes from Indonesia)

Just stumble upon this restaurant in Puchong that serve quiet an authentic and good Indonesian food. Nasi Padang as they are normally called.Here it is called Masakan Padang (Padang Cooking) . The redang chicken and beef are great likewise the rest like sambal belacan but I would not recommend the fish, currently, as I believe the owners bought it from suppliers who import them. The flesh are tender,but with a smell ,like plastic and the bones are rather black. I took two type of fish on my second visit without finishing it and informed the owner about it. I suspect the importers threw in some additives to prolong the freshness of the fish .( I have heard some even uses formalin). I would still prefer local fish which are always fresh.

Misuse of Recycle centre parking lot

I wanted to recycle some items from home,and only to find that I cannot park my car at the dedicated car park lot for "recyclers". Only to find Two ,BIG expensive cars parking there. No, they are not park there to recycle.They are just misusing these parking lots to park their cars for the day. There was no owners of these expensive cars around . I had to park my car a distant away and carried heavy old newspapers and recycle items to the recycle centre. Then came along a MPSJ personnel ,well sure enough and thanks to her for having the courage to slam a parking fine .
Talking about moral,,Rich or Poor ,...I somehow feel there are more of them from the rich. tsch,,,tsch,...

Seems to be mushrooming everywhere...

I kind of like this advert from the local newspapers as it reflects exactly a person that I knew not long ago. Have you come across friends or persons that resembles this advert behavior (the guy who is brushing his teeth) ?

Ah Ming Chinese Mixed Rice in USJ14 ,UEP Subang

Ah Ming's Chinese Mixed Rice located at Restoran Lam Hing Leong ,USJ14 ,Subang Jaya,Malaysia. Very inexpensive ,clean Chinese food .Opens daily for lunch. This cook will then continue his business (Tai Chow) for dinner. Yes, his food are so good that you even get foreigners (Americans ,I think from their slang) like these guys in the picture for lunch.

Immoral generations

Why are there more and more Mat Rampit's . Why are there people who cheats and being proud of it by having the mindset that these stupid people deserves to be cheated by a more intelligent species.

My opinion,.... it all boils down to parenting (say 60%) and education places (say 20%) and the surroundings where they live, media, friends ,..etc (20%).

In the early days , discipline was instill in our young minds from early age ,where crime , cheat ,to lie is a major issue where punishment are to follow. Apparently today as from my life experience ,I have seen parents teaching their children to lie in order to be the " winner " of the day in a bad incident that their child is involved. Sometimes it is their parent's non righteous behavior that are acted in front of their children which eventually instill wrong moral to these affected children. I have also encountered a parent belittling their own child in public places. I can still remembered vividly the expression of this child. How a shameful situation this child had to go through.
Without correct parenting , constant reminder of doing the right things especially in their early age, proper education, occasional pep talks , regular communication exchanges according to the child's age and current happenings in their lives, children will grow up doing the immoral things. Some children will just become restless , feeling of no hope in life hence doing stuffs that they think is right and doing stuffs that not many dare to dwell ,to attract attentions ( eg. Mat Rempits) .
Some children will grow up and become managers . Imagine having to work under these managers who steals your ideas and take it as their own and shown publicly to his/her top management in order to enhance his portfolios, or a manager that always tries to take advantage of your kindness , misusing their authority in that company, ... and many more bad scenarios that you can think of.

The above taken from The Star newspaper, Yellow Noodles food manufacturer operating with very unhygienic conditions.
First of all how ignorant, greedy and selfish, these food factories owners and operators are.Producing food for people's consumption. Innocent elders, adults, children and perhaps some toddlers are consuming these "toxic" food without their knowledge. Worst still ,one is paying unaware to be poisoned.
In order to eradicate or severely reduce these type of food and drinks manufacturers,I hope the Ministry of Health and all authorities concern to implement severe penalties to these owners and operators. The authorities should also blacklist the owner's and operator's name. Moral awareness should also be in the list.This is Mass Murder By Slow Death.

Adulterate & "Home Made" Beers in Malaysia

It has been quiet sometime now that these adulterate and "home made" beers hit the night spots in Selangor,perhaps other states too and some even appear in coffee shops.I first encountered these adulterate ones about two years ago in a karaoke pub.
It was like the normal evening out with friends where we were drinking in another pub where we enjoyed every pint of fresh draft beers. Then one friend decided he has the urge to sing,hence we adjourned to a karaoke pub nearby.The first jug of draft beers arrived and immediately we noticed the difference in taste. It tasted rather diluted.We did not make a fuss out of it, instead we continue drinking and change the next order to bottles instead of draft beers. It was like a mistake from one to another.The bottles came and one of us felt something "funny" about the taste, but we all joked and said that perhaps it is a different brand of beers hence the different in taste.We drank on. That evening itself, I had terrible experience in the middle of my sleep, and I woke up feeling unwell. I brush it off as perhaps I had one too many,until all five of us who had the evening together and exchanged experience,only to learned that four out of five had similiar experience.From then on I was more cautious with my drinks.As time goes by, I started to take notice of my beers and gradually blacklisted the pubs/night joints that serve "bad" beers and only drink in places where they serve fresh draft beers.

We talked among our friends and with some owners of pubs and learned that the adulterate ones are normally mixed with water.Hence after a few rounds of fresh beers one would not really notice the difference, except one frequent the toilets very much more often then before.However it is always very easy for the tainted pub operator/owner to tell their patrons that it is very normal for beer drinkers to frequent the toilet often.

I was told there was a newspaper report sometime ago in the Chinese press that the enforcement raided a huge factory somewhere in Sungei Buloh, where "home made" beers were produced. Branded brands like Carlsberg were widely used in this back yard factory.

Ironical, I have been places where they serve adulterate beers ,however there are still many patron frequenting these places. I just wonder, how come they did not notice the difference, or was it that they don't mind, as the beers are much cheaper here, or is it that simply most patron ,especially Malaysian do not care.
I have visited places like Bangkok,Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore and I have never experience being serve with adulterate or "home made" beers.I sincerely am against being poison or toxified for something I am paying for.

I only can hope ,especially with the new line up of Ministers,that more efficient enforcement shall be conducted more frequently and quickly before this episode hits the tourist in a big way.
