Prices of houses are under speculation...crazy prices which is way beyond normal consumer's reach. It is only for the very few rich people. Also worth to note why is it now a housing loan that stretches to 40 years ! (previously only up to 25 years)
Seems to me like the prices of cars before Proton came into our shore. Before Proton exist, Japanese cars like Nissan, Toyota, etc only cost about MYR12,000 for a 1.3 litre. When Proton was born, Proton cars was lifted to about MYR17,000 and added taxes on foreign Japaneses cars went up from MYR21,000.00 and above. The car loan extended from 3 years to 5 years and gradually going up to 10 years. Well,,,what does this tell us ?I am agreeable with inflation , however quick corrective measures has to be done for the over long suppressed of minimum wage.
