Masakan Padang (Dishes from Indonesia)Just stumble upon this restaurant in Puchong that serve quiet an authentic and good Indonesian food. Nasi Padang as they are normally called.Here it is called Masakan Padang (Padang Cooking) . The redang chicken and beef are great likewise the rest like sambal belacan but I would not recommend the fish, currently, as I believe the owners bought it from suppliers who import them. The flesh are tender,but with a smell ,like plastic and the bones are rather black. I took two type of fish on my second visit without finishing it and informed the owner about it. I suspect the importers threw in some additives to prolong the freshness of the fish .( I have heard some even uses formalin). I would still prefer local fish which are always fresh.
